:), the background is nice and subtle. There is just one thing: the staff. It fades with the background which does not seem to be exactly right considering the angle she's holding it. looking forward to more stuff from you.

I think this is much more a finished artwork than your other posts in the drawing section are :)
Particularly I like how you made the background with all those lines, it creates a nice sense of depth, though it doesn't draw the attention all to the background the way you did it.

sorry, have no real crits, I usually don't like it when people only say good things about an artwork posted here, but here I am, being one of those people :p

Cool stuff, great style you've got. I really like the way you managed to point out main happening; what's the drawing all about. That really stands out and both the background and the characters (happening) fit well together.
I agree with Marl1 about the lines in the background; they really bring some kind of dimension in the image. (thumbup)
